Polyurethane coverings offer efficient protection for rollers that are used in a range of industrial sectors. These coverings 
must demonstrate maximum resistance to mechanical stress and high temperatures, high chemical stability, and the capacity to protect the roller from collisions, abrasions and all types of corrosion that can be caused, for example, by high temperatures or solvents use. AGED is able to supply rollers covered with rubbers that are resistant to abrasions, oil, chemical agents and high temperatures, in polyurethane (Adiprene, Vulkollan), hardness ranges from 20 to 98 Shore A, in PVC plastic and in Nylon. The Turin company is able to produce these coverings in any shape required: cylindrical, curved, concave, V-shaped, with maximum diameters of 1500 mm and lengths of 5000 mm.
Surface finishings provided can be of any type (ground smooth, with longitudinal/transversal grooves or lozenge patterns) as required by the different industrial sectors. Coatings can be applied to metal parts provided by the customer – whether new or used rollers needing recoating – or parts designed on the basis of a customer-supplied drawing. All items can be produced in very large dimensions also.
