AGED provides an extensive range of semi-worked articles (rods, sheets, sleeves, tubes) in a variety of plastics available today both standard plastics and with additives. They can be used profitably to create technical articles for a wide vasemilavorati plastica 4riety of applications, in the most diverse industrial sectors, being heat resistant in the range 100° C to 150° C and having excellent mechanical properties, elevated dimensional stability and good chemical and wear resistance. They can replace metals in many applications. The range includes Nylon (polyamide 6, 66, 6G), POM (Delrin, acetal resin), PET (Arnite) and PTFE (Teflon).
They function at temperatures over 150°, and be produced with special additives that further increase their properties: fibreglass and carbon fibre that increase heat distortion resistance, PTFE, graphite and aramid fibres that improve friction properties.
Metal fibres and black carbon fibres improve electrical conductivity. Here below is a full list :
. polyethersulfone (PES),
. polysulfone (PSU),
. polyamides: polyetherimide (PEI), polyamide imide (PAI),
polyetheretherketone (PEEK)
. polyphenylene sulfide (PPS),
fluoropolymers (PTFE, FEP, PVDF)
